Originally developed by 5th Cell for DS, Scribblenauts is one of the most valuable titles seen on the screens of the Nintendo handheld. Its success is based on a simple concept: allow to decide how to define his adventure.
The book of magic Maxwell, able to materialize anything written down inside, gave rise to an original limited only by the imagination of the user.
After being delayed for months compared to the rest of the world due to localization issues, the game was finally released on Steam.
The gameplay has remained the same, the only major novelty is the possibility to assign adjectives not only to objects, but also Maxwell, making it more streamlined shifts, what has really changed in the title 5th Cell is the size of the location, vocabulary, the space for the imagination of the player.
The formula point and click is comfortable and precise, using the mouse, and it is important for the large quantity of items that we can create, customize and equip, and the desire to command an army of zombies or to participate in major battles are not most impossible dreams.
Technically speaking Scribblenauts Unlimited is a little gem: colorful and able to amaze with its minimalist style. With our configuration, the game has proven successful, with crisp images and a frame rate stable, but we have to lament the apparent tearing during movement of the camera.
The soundtrack is excellent with a very wide track list and always linked with the environments. The sound effects are great fun.
The game still has several edges to polish, and some feature strangely absent (which we hope will be introduced in a hypothetical next chapter), but waiting for the Wii U and 3DS versions are released (before 2015 of course), please to look at that on Steam: you will not regret.
