Assassins Creed: the film will be released in 2013

New Regency and Ubisoft announced that soon the fans of the famous saga of video game Assassins Creed, will receive a nice surprise, it seems that the game has achieved worldwide record sales of over 37 million copies, will also have a film version .

The film will be made possible thanks to the collaboration between Ubisoft and film studies at New Regency, which will provide funding for the making of the film.

The draft of the script is already under development and will be fully realized by Ubisoft resources in order to keep as faithful to the game settings and their style of play, we hope that Ubisoft will be able to provide the same depth of history and entertainment contradistinguono always their video games.

Jean-Julien Baronnet, the young CEO of Ubisoft, announcing the deal, said: “The choice fell on  New Regency to the experience gained in this studio time and for sharing your creative mind and independent we have to Ubisoft Motion Pictures. We are confident that Assassin’s Creed will be a high quality movie in the tradition of the game and the expectations of the fans of the game. ”

The film will be produced and performed by German actor Michael Fassbender, known star that we got to enjoy success in films like Inglourious Basterds and Prometheus.

Recently Geoffroy Sardin, head of sales and marketing at Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed movie will be out in theaters in 2013.

We just have to wait a few months but in the meantime, in waiting for the film, fans of Assassin’s Creed can enjoy the latest releases of Assassin’s Creed III for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation for PSVita.
