Latest news from Electronic Arts has just released the news about the playable demo of Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel will be released on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network next Tuesday, March 12.

The demo will allow the control of Alpha and Bravo, the two protagonists of the game we will see that this time engaged in a complicated mission whose goal is to rescue hostages.

The storyline involves the rescue by the torque of a political figure who is being held in the rooms of a chemical laboratory where drugs are produced.

The mission assigned to Alpha and Bravo provides their infiltration in one of the headquarters of the cartel, through a series of actions in which work separately such as the one in which Alpha will be on board a helicopter to provide air cover for Bravo that beats in the streets below against enemies.

 

In a statement released to the presentation, Electronic Arts, publisher of the game, he stressed the fact that The Devil’s Cartel be a real scoop to the saga, which will take the characters “more mature, more raw, more intense.” Also announced will be used graphics engine Frostbite 2, the same as in Battlefield 3.

As you recall, the first two chapters of the series were designed and produced by EA Montreal studies, in this third installment, however, the development has been awarded to Visceral Games, creators of securities known as Dante’s Inferno and Dead Space.

At the same time the press was released the trailer which shows some sequences of action-packed game cinematics together with parts that tell the story, is also presented El Diablo, the antagonist character of the game.

The arrival in European shops Army of TWO: The Devil’s Cartel is scheduled for March 29, 2013 and will be available for Xbox 360 and PS3.
